The Inn at Crystal Beach by Salt Water Vacations

Beautiful place! We have stayed here several times and it's always been great. The rooms ALL have a private balcony that overlooks the beach. They are a good size and have everything you could want. The beach chairs & umbrella rental is even included. I would highly recommend the Inn at Crystal Beach! We will definitely be back!

Our experience was fantastic! We were in awe of the crystal clear water and white sand beaches, and loved that it was about 20 steps from the doors to put your feet in the water. Since our trip was in November, the weather was rather chilly, so we especially appreciated the heated pool and hot tub. Our full kitchen allowed us to cook, so we didn't try the on-site restaurant, but we did hear many good things from snowbirds who frequent there. The front desk staff was very attentive, and they always acknowledged us as we passed through. Our particular condo was beautifully furnished, totally updated, and had every amenity we could ask for. It was a lovely stay that we hope to repeat!

This was one of the best vacation stays I've ever had! The staff was great, and the private beach was kept beautifully clean. John (photo), the beach staff member, was conscientious about where he put families with children for safety. He checked on my all adult party several times to make sure we were comfortable and picked a perfect spot for us each day. Owen, from the Soleil restaurant, was on the beach every day, making sure we had food and drinks if we wanted to purchase them. (Heads up: Automatic 20% gratuity, which is well deserved. Plus, there is an $8 fee for beach service) Ethan, the beach lifeguard, probably saved my life by educating me about riptides and how to look for them. It was a double red flag the first 2 days of vacation, and the flag pole near us wasn't operational the first day. So I didn't know that we weren't allowed in the water when Ethan called me over and educated me. The beautiful beach photo below was taken on a day with strong riptides. I am very thankful for people who care about others and care about doing well in their profession!

Can't beat it. John at the beach is the best, keeps you in the shade. Make sure you tip. Condos nicer than 97% of homes in the country. I know people gripe about some of them not being super modern, but what are you doing spending so much time up there anyway? Complaining about a lack of USB ports hardwired to the walls is just silly. Our unit had plenty of cookware, utensils, and plates. We were able to feed over a dozen with no issues at all. It's the best beach in the nation. Sit out there from sunrise to sunset.

We stayed in Condo #305 and it was amazing! The Inn at Crystal Beach was a perfect location and you can’t beat the view from the balcony! We tried out the restaurant and Chris, the bartender, was the best! He had great recommendations for stops in 30A during our trip and made some fabulous drinks. The food there was amazing as well! The amenities at The Inn were top notch! I’d highly recommend a stay here if you’re looking for a vacation spot with great beach access! We did a house that wasn’t on the beach last year and after being an elevator ride down from the beach this year, we won’t do it any other way!

We stayed in Unit 411. The unit at a glance is gorgeous. However, at a closer look, the place is not very clean. The floors were grungy, the tile & such in bathrooms has holes & doesn’t look very clean, the all white furniture (WHY IN A RENTAL???) is filthy, etc. They need to update & keep up better with maintenance on this. The restaurant is convenient & expensive but everything was very good. The location is great. Our views were amazing. The kitchen is well stocked. It just needs a deep clean every quarter or so & don’t put white furniture in a rental unit. Simple.

Our room was super out dated. I killed 3 roaches the first day. The bifold doors to the pantry and washer dryer were broken. The dishwasher was not bolted in to the cabinets. It moves around. The elevators are SUPER small. There is only 2 for the whole condo. DO NOT use the beach service for drinks. We ordered frozen drinks that were listed as $16 dollars ea. by the time they got to us they were melted and tasted horrible and they cost $33 each. $16 + 7% beach fee + $20% automatic gratuit which was never mentioned. Drink was so bad I ended up pooring it out in the sand. $33 FOR ONE DRINK that had zero alcohol in it. The server had no change and didn't even offer to go get change. So whatever you paid over the amount... you just lost. No change. The pool is small. There were only 3 chairs on the balcony. 4 people were in the condo so someone had to stand up or bring a chair from the dining table. Check in was easy and the beach is always great just wint stay here again. The roaches were a deal breaker.

The unit (411) was tastefully decorated and had the basic things we needed and all seemed in good working order. There was a lack of hangers in the closet and other than the primary bathroom the others did not have hooks for beach or bath towels. Of particular note is that the place needed a deep clean. Baseboards and floor were dirty, light colored furniture needs to be cleaned or replaced, the sofa was soiled and looked dingy. I pulled a dirty plate out of the cabinet, which of course left me to wonder how well everything had been cleaned. Our favorite feature of 411 was the large balcony and wonderful views. The property itself has a nice beach setup and a high end restaurant. Everything our group of 4 ordered was delicious and the staff was attentive.
